Church Find welcomes International Grammar School in Ultimo, who are engaged in a revitalisation journey enriching the community, for all their latest times and information including times.
International Grammar School occupies a unique and exciting place in the landscape of Sydney schools. In addition to being a fully co-educational Preschool – Year 12 school, IGS celebrates the diversity which characterises Sydney and the broader Australian community.
IGS is a secular school which welcomes students of all backgrounds. The school’s motto, Unity through Diversity, is a lived value which underpins all that IGS stands for and does. A partial immersion bilingual language program in the primary years and the mandatory study of at least one language in Years 7-10 reflect the emphasis the school places on intercultural understanding. IGS is a local school with a global perspective.
Our students are open-minded, engaged and engaging, respected and respectful. Indeed, strong relationships are the bedrock of their growth as people and learners. IGS students have a strong social conscience and are inclusive of all. Personal Achievement, a core IGS value, sees our students succeed in a range of academic pursuits, both in the formal school-based curriculum but equally in a range of endeavours in the school’s extensive co-curricular program.
